About Michael McMahon
Moving Mountain Institute Founder and Teacher
Founder, Senior Instructor Michael McMahon, LAc, LMT
Michael McMahon, LAc, LMT, is the founder of Moving Mountain Institute. A licensed acupuncturist and massage therapist, he brings over two decades of clinical and teaching experience to his work.
Through the Institute, Michael teaches workshops and courses in advanced bodywork and integrative practices. He also developed original curricula as adjunct faculty at the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM), where he received the university-wide award for Innovation & Excellence in Teaching.
Since beginning his career in massage therapy in 2000, Michael has trained extensively with leading figures in the bodywork field. His approach blends the principles of Chinese medicine with hands-on expertise in Craniosacral Therapy, Myofascial Release, Visceral Manipulation, Manual Articular Joint Approaches, and Active Isolated Stretching.
At the heart of Michael’s practice is a lifelong commitment to learning and sharing knowledge—ensuring that both his patients and students benefit from the depth of his study and experience.
This course is designed for licensed healthcare professionals, those enrolled in a healthcare training program, or those who are otherwise on a licensing path in a healthcare field (LAc, LMT, ND, etc.).
