Our Craniosacral Therapy Foundations I course gives participants a comprehensive skill set to perform craniosacral therapy in a variety of clinical settings.
It is comprised of 2 modules, each involving a 3-day, hands-on, in-person workshop focused on developing “listening hands”, learning the main craniosacral releases, and addressing important areas related to the craniosacral system, such as the jaw, thoracolumbar fascia, and cervical fascia.
Since understanding the relevant anatomy and physiology of the body greatly improves our hands-on work, we provide online lectures in the associated anatomy and physiology to complement our in-person training. Students are expected to review the online materials before our in-person time together.

Course Highlights
Participants are invited into the rich and often beguiling world of the craniosacral system in a way that is fun and approachable while also deeply meaningful. The principles underlying craniosacral therapy are introduced along with an appreciation for the “terrain” of the system.

The training is fantastic. Michael and the teaching assistants provided a safe and supportive learning environment that allowed me to sink deeply into the practice and gain confidence in my ability to support my patients with this subtle, gentle, and powerful healing modality.
A deep dive into the theory and anatomy to engage your brain
Cranial Sacral therapy is a subtle and effective technique to layer into your current practice. MMI provides a deep dive into the theory and anatomy to engage your brain, and practice with a variety of clear and valuable techniques to improve your skills. The hybrid model allows for learning in your own time, and the in person workshops provide a cohort for you to learn with, and two full days of hands on practical time with the instructors.
The lectures are bite-sized, engaging, and knowledge dense
Most of us are pretty wary of Hybrid courses right now. There are only so many hours we can stare at screens. This CS Hybrid series is not like that at all. The lectures are bite-sized, engaging, and knowledge dense. They link directly to the work we do in the Clinical Workshops. Michael and his assistants are outstanding practitioners who are quick to share their decades of experience in the context of their new insights working with the anatomy. There isn't another course like this that will get you from "never done this before" to "really comfortable and curious to explore more".

This is not your general weekend continuing education class, this is a class that will assist you in developing your skills, style and intuition to be a cranial sacral practitioner. the community, the content, the teacher and the other students reached well beyond my expectations. truly a priceless experience.
