6:00pm PT / 8:00pm CT / 9:00pm ET
Online - Zoom (not recorded)
This is an Anatomy follow-up to our Community Lecture on the Interstitium. The East Asian medical classics have numerous references to "greasy membranes", the diaphragm and other recognizable visceral fascial relationships. Michael will curate from Gil Hedley's dissection videos a series of views into these tissues. In many ways, these are the nameless visceral fascial tissues that western anatomy has largely ignored while the East Asian medical field understood them as so important as to be part of an organ system. Let's have a look and see what we learn together!
Note: This event will not be recorded due to ownership rights of Gil Hedley's materials.
All proceeds from Anatomy Talks, less transaction fees, go directly to the Moving Mountain Institute Black Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC) Tuition Assistance fund.
