Join us for Textural Differences by Layer, Part II

Online (Zoom) - not recorded

This is a continuation of our August Anatomy Talk. Not to worry, if you didn't make that one this one will still make sense! We are working through the layers of the torso. That is a region that blends the distinctions of anterior, lateral and posterior. It's a little bit of all three and as such is often incompletely understood.

Over the last three years both of my myofascial and visceral work has led me to be curiouser and curiouser about this anatomy. Here's the thing, cases often present us with dynamics that are involving multiple systems at the same time. This area is an area where that dynamic presents itself. The visceral fascia communicates into the myofascia and vice versa. The layers here are thin and intercommunicating.

I spent about 4 full days dissecting these tissues so that I could better understand how they are in relationship with each other. It was fascia-nating! I'm excited to share it with you all and hope that you will join us! I know not everyone has the inclination or resources to go to Gil's lab. I appreciate the opportunity to share some of what I have learned there with you all.

Note: This event will not be recorded due to ownership rights of Gil Hedley's materials.
